Visit a small hill town where time seems to have stopped in the 1400s. Have
lunch at a typical home-style trattoria before heading through the Alpe Alpuanes
to Viarregio, a famous resort town on the Mediterranean Sea. As we go through
the Alps you can see the marble caves of Carrara, where Michelangelo wandered
for months at a time choosing the marble for his work. Then we will stop in
Viareggio for a gelato and some window shopping before returning to your hotel.
